Combination of History and Photoshop

There was a recent craze with replacing the faces of famous pictures with those of your friends or yourself.
I personally do it for my family, but using my own found images and super-imposing the heads using photoshop rather than using a template from a website.
There is a unknown artist, who started a tublr of friends, family members, and mostly famous people's faces placed in famous portraits of Russian generals.
